Since 1997, AGD Products, Inc. has been developing environmental containment products for the Automation and Materials processing industries. Our DURA-SHIELD products protect employees from health and physical hazards, as well as equipment from pre-mature wear due to seals that do not work properly and allow contamination of the plant environment. AGD Products, Inc. has solved a host of problems for our many customers, protecting their valuable equipment and saving them expensive repairs and maintenance.

There is a DURA-SHIELD seal available for almost any condition and material. From our most popular line of standard duty, heavy duty and light duty seals to more specialized seals for food and pharmaceutical processing. Typical applications include Screw Conveyors, Bucket Elevators, Mixers, Screw Feeders and Crushers. Many of our seals are available in non-split, semi-split and fully split styles. We have seals that allow for longitudinal shaft growth and seals that are externally adjustable. Our newest design is a bearing seal that combines bearing and seal in a heavy duty steel housing. We can design a custom sealing solution for almost any environment and material.

We provide design assistance with total turnkey materials processing systems, from mechanical & pneumatic conveying and blending systems to fully automated packaging equipment.

Engineering Capabilities: Auto-Cad Drawing Services, Solid Works 3-D Design (Part and Assembly Development). Mechanical Design Assistance- Pneumatic, Hydraulics and Electrical Drive computer based equipment for automation, Automated Packaging Equipment design and build. Experience with a wide array of FDA requirements. Design of Seals, Safety Guards and Enclosures to meet those requirements.

Manufacturing Capabilities: CNC Milling and Turning, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Wire and Conventional E.D.M., High Pressure Precision Water-Jet Cutting, and Plastic Injection Molding to 20 Ounce Part Weight along with Tool Building Services.

AGD Products, Inc. manufactures all plastic components in-house. As a result, we have developed a very respectable background over the years with plastic compounds. We have even developed our own proprietary plastic materials for use with the DURA-SHIELD Shaft Seals. We would be glad to recommend the proper DURA-SHIELD Shaft Seal material or construction combination to be used with your product. We keep a list of materials compatibility information on hand for quick responses to your questions.

In addition to the DURA-SHIELD line of seals, AGD Products, Inc. manufactures a line of standard and custom gaskets in a wide variety of materials. Also available is the Frame-rite 304 weld-less construction system for safety enclosures and guarding.
